BLC beneficiary to be rewarded under PMAY

ITANAGAR, Jul 26:Bamang Mengia of ward no18 has been selected as lone beneficiary of BLC (beneficiary lead construction) from Arunachal, an initiative of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Govt. of India under which she will be provided Rs 1.50 lakhs as subsidy .

Mengia's name was listed out after she built her house following all specifications of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana –Housing for all (PMAY-HFA) under guidance of concerned department. Joint Director cum Chief Nodal Officer for (PMAY-HFA), Marcony Potom is escorting her to receive the reward in the two daylong celebration of 3rd anniversary of PMAY-HFA scheduled to be held at Lucknow , UP from Thursday.

Prime Minister, Narendra Modi will be interacting with the beneficiaries from 35 states / union territories on the second day of the programme at Indira Gandhi Pratyushan, Lucknow where he will also take stock of the progress of the campaign.

In addition to that, status and progress of various flagships programmes such as smart city Mission, AMRUT (Atal Mission for rejuvenation and Urban Transport) etc will also be reviewed.
