YAZALI, Aug 7:   Normal life was paralyzed from Potin to Joram Top in Lower Subansiri district due to a 12-hour dawn to dusk bandh called by the Trans-Arunachal Highway Compensation Deprived forum today.

Schools, business establishments and markets remained closed, even private vehicles were off the road except for a few security personnel and emergency vehicles.

 TAHDCF is demanding immediate start of construction of Trans- Arunachal Highway from Potin to Bopi, early clearance of compensation package and handing over of compensation scam case to CBI.

 The forum is further threatened to call a 48-hr bandh from August 14 if concerned authorities failed to respond within the stipulated time frame.
