YINGKIONG, Jun 13:A mobilization training programme on role and responsibilities of voluntary organization/NGOs and service providers under Domestic Violence Act 2005 and sexual harassment at workplace, POCSO Act 2012 and Juvenile Justice Act 2015 was held in the community hall of DC Office Yingkiong June 10 last.

The day-long training programme was organized in collaboration with the District Legal Service Authority Yingkiong, Women Welfare Society Yingkiong and Women Welfare Society Jengging. In the programme Smti Mary Kamsi, JMFC Yingkiong who attended as the chairperson of the training spoke on the various provisions of the JJ act 2015 and ways through which one can avail legal aid under the Acts.
