ITANAGAR, May 23: Taking strong exception of the dastardly and heinous attack perpetrated upon Audit & Pension director Abdul Basit by some unknown miscreants at his office in Naharlagun on Monday last, the Directorate Service Officer's Association of Arunachal (DSOAA) has demanded the arrest of culprits within 48 hours.
The DSOAA condemns the incident in its strongest term and urges upon the law enforcing authority to apprehend the culprits within 48 hours. The miscreants should also be awarded exemplary punishment, said a statement from association president Talo Potom.
Meanwhile, the Arunachal Law Students’ Union (ALSU) and All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF) led by Dobing Sonam have also condemned the incident and sought immediate arrest of the lawbreakers involved.
