ITANAGAR, Aug 29: The Arunachal Teachers Association (ATA) in a release has lauded the recent Cabinet decisions to revoke out of turn appointments in the education department, the creation of 400 posts for regularization of contract ISSE teachers, to review and amend recruitment rules, to revive non-functional schools across the state, etc.
In the meantime, it drew the attention of the state government towards one of its long-pending demands that is the formation of a proper departmental promotional committee (DPC) norms for ISSE teachers.
ATA is also anticipating that the government will also review the ISSE bye-laws earlier submitted through a memorandum to the government.
