The Arunachal Pradesh Non-registered Contractors Association has hailed the bold decision of state government for handing over the 60 paged notes “Mere Vichar” allegedly written by Kalikho Pul to Ministry of Home Affairs for independent and impartial enquiry.

At the same time, it appealed all to maintain calm and wait for the notes to be verified by the Ministry.

Meanwhile, the union also raised questions over the accusation written in the note purportedly by Pul alleging about bribing few influential people including top judges, lawyers, party high ups and also an MLA in involving crores.

The APNRCA has pointed out that if the late Chief Minister claimed himself to be spotless, how come he gathered such huge money to pay bribe to so called people he had named in the diary.

Even his declaration through affidavit in 2014 election says that he had over 4 crore asset but when the money he gave to individuals as per his diary comes at few hundred crores, the association observed.

Citing bribe taker or bribe giver both are equal in the eyes of law and liable for equal punishment, it further called for independent inquiry on the observation made by them  so that the people of the state can also see the face of the person who had spilled the beans on others before choosing to end his life.
