ITANAGAR, Jun 23: The most awaited  Bollywood movie ‘ Tubelight’ opened in screens in the state capital to huge excitement. First day, first show of the Salman Khan starrer introducing local boy Matin Rey Tangu got rousing response from cine goers. The management of the theatres at Naharlagun made extra sitting arrangement inside anticipation more than usual crowd.

After Rangoon,  ‘Tubelight’ has been most awaited Bollywood movie in the state largely to watch the acting prowess of Arunachalee Matin Rey Tangu.

Eminent personalities like Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, legislators Tesam Pongte, Zignu Namchoom, Nyamar Karbak and Principal Secretary, Satya Gopal were spotted in the theatre watching the performance of the 8-year old Matin.

‘It is a delightful moment for all of us … a small boy with his natural talent has made his way to mainstream Bollywood beating thousands of competitors and got the chance to act with superstar Salman Khan,’ said Deputy Chief Minister.  While extending best wishes to both actors, he hoped that more artists like Matin would make their place in Bollywood after completion of Film and Television Institute in the state.

Unlike other regular love story or family dramas, Tubelight is a quite different story that revolves around two brothers, 1962 Indo-Sino war and nationalism simultaneously sharing message of Gandhigiri that holds audience till the end. Matin has shown he is a natural by playing the role of a son of a Chinese settled in India to perfection.
