ITANAGAR, Sep 3: Dr. Chowdim Tayang, Eye Specialist of District Hospital, Roing was awarded silver plaque award by Association of Community Ophthalmologists of India, at its annual conference at Digha, West Bengal on September 1. Dr.Tayang was chosen for the award in recognition of his community service in Ophthalmology and closely associating with Avoidable Blindness Free Arunachal (ABFAR) Changlang and Seeing is Believing, Namsai Projects, implemented by NPCB & VI-Arunachal in collaboration with Operation Eyesight Universal, Standard Chartered Bank, and Chandraprabha Eye Hospital, Jorhat.
