ZIRO, Jun 6: “After becoming Home Minister, I have withdrawn personal securities from all the chairman of various departments in the interest of the state”, said Kumar Wai, minister for Home, RWD, Labour and employment, while attending as chief guest in the ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sammelan’, organized by the Lower Subansiri district unit BJP here at Abotani Hall today on successful completion of three years of Modi government. The programme was sponsored by NEEPCO.

Speaking to a jam pack gathering, the Home Minister while highlighting on the visions of the government on improving India’s future, said that God has given abundant natural resource to Arunachal Pradesh but we still do not have concrete vision for future which needs to be taken up early. 

Lauding Clean India Campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi that aims to keep surroundings clean and hygienic, he appealed people of Ziro to follow his (Modi’s) mission by keeping Ziro Valley clean so that other parts of the state can emulate. Besides, he also briefed on the Make in India campaign and its vision.

Attending the Sammelan as guest of honour, Parliamentary Secretary for Transport Likha Saaya said that ever since Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, development of country is taking place beyond expectation.  Modi is also giving more emphasis on youth’s development for which he has framed numerous policies, Saaya added.

To disseminate the programme and policies of the Centre to grassroots level, it is the duty of Yuva Morcha, he said adding that Yuva Shakti is to be harnessed towards empowering of women for new India mission.

Host MLA cum Parliamentary Secretary for Food & Civil Supplies, Tage Taki while admiring Modi Government as most decisive and bold government, briefed some of the reformations made in the system as well as technicalities against corruption.

Lower Subansiri distrit BJP President, Tilling Dolley and Ziro BJP Mandal president, John Tadu Lalyang also spoke on the occasion.

Earlier, the programme began with screening of video clips of Modi’s three years of governance.

Tatar Kipa Ex-minister, Arup Kr. Sarmah, general manager NEEPCO, BJP workers of the district, gaon buras and gaon buris also attended the function.
