Namasibo, Sep 7: The Indian Army inaugurated Skill Development Centre at Namasibo Vibrant Village in Shi Yomi District to boost women employment and nurture local craftsmanship in the forward and remote areas of Arunachal Pradesh. The state-of-the-art facility aims to empower women by providing a platform to hone their skill, promote self sufficiency and add them as contributing members of society.
The centre is equipped with modern facilities including a Galo weaver and professional teachers who will offer training on various skills.
"This centre will provide a platform for the women to hone their cultural skills, enhancing their employability and contributing to the growth of society, region and state as a whole,” said ADC Manigong Idam Bagra.
