TAWANG, Aug 26: Indian Army unit of Blazing Sword Division organised a medical camp at Anigompa, Lhou village, East Tawang today. The medical camp is being organised as a special event on every alternate full moon day considered auspicious by the nuns of Anigompa. The event provided basic health check up to the nuns and locals and spread awareness on common ailments.
More than 250 local people including nuns, women, children and elderly benefited from the camp. The local populace appreciated the initiative of Indian Army and assured their full cooperation for such initiatives in future.
