ITANAGAR, Jun 23:The Arunachal Pradesh Medical Council in its 19^th Council meeting held today at Naharlagun under the Chairmanship of Dr. Emi Rumi felicitated Dr. Moji Jini, Director Medical Education, Training & Research (Ex-officio member) with a memento for his contribution to the Arunachal Pradesh Medical Council being the first Registrar cum Secretary, APMC  for ten years from 2005-2015.

The Council also welcomed its newly joined ex-Officio member Director Family Welfare, Dr. Mormor Lego and decided to induct two more Council members as per Govt. of A.P’s APMC (Amendment) Act, 2017. The Council in its meeting further unanimously endorsed MCI Regulation 1.5 of the IMC (Professional Conduct, Etiquette an Ethics) amendment 2016 on prescription of Generic Medicine by Doctors.  It further appreciated the Government of Arunachal Pradesh order to this effect and for making generic drugs available at nominal costs at various Jan Aushadi outlets in the state.
