ITANAGAR, Jul 24: A team from Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) led by its vice president, (HQ), Minkir Lollen on Tuesday met Chief Minister Pema Khandu at his office chamber and submitted a five-point memorandum regarding the controversial Trans-Arunachal Highway (TAH) land compensation scam.
Immediate handing over the case to CBI for impartial inquiry, reassessment of entire stretch of Highway compensation, disbursement of land compensation to the genuine left out land effected people, early construction of highway, etc. are among its key demands.
Satisfied with the outcome of the meeting, the team requested the CM to look into the matter on priority basis in the interest of land affected people.
General secretary, APCC cum Chairman TAH Assessment Committee, Rajen Nani , former Minister, Bida Taku, State NSUI unit President, Teli Mello Camdir, etc. were present in the meeting.
