HAWAI, Jul 24: The Anjaw District Administration launched another extended cleanliness campaign themed as "Jan Andolan", as a part of Swachh Bharat Gramin Mission to sensitize the villagers of Walla, Watong, Ngi and Chengung, etc under the district about cleanliness.

The campaign is supported by department of Public Health Engineering Department, District Urban Development Agency, Education, Public and Bazaar and will be followed later with outreach activities to create awareness among the villagers of the selected villages.

The campaign in both Hawai and Hayuliang sub-divisions is dovetailed with field activities formulated for selection of cleanest village in the district under Chief Minister Award Project formulated in April 2018.

Earlier, in a preliminary meeting conducted earlier on July 13 it was resolved to give special focus on all parameters identified for cleanliness under the Award.
