PANGIN, Aug 21:The final preparations of the first ever angling festival, Simang-Siang Angling Festival under Boleng administrative circle, which is going to kick off from August 23-25 next is on war footing.
Siang DTO TK Kopak, who visited the festival venue, informed that the organizers have constructed five eco cottages to facilitate the participants along with other amenities. He further informed that the electrification and water connection for the venue are in final stage.
There has been a good response for the upcoming three-day catch and release angling festival as good numbers of anglers from the state and outside the state have done their bookings for the event.
Simang River, which flow nearby the Boleng Town, is popular for Golden Masheer.
