PASIGHAT, Sep 6: Observing the ongoing Rashtriya Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Month),  the DD, ICDS, Ponung Angu Ering today administered the “ POSHAN  Pledge”  to Anganwadi workers at CDPO office here.

Stressing on the role of Anganwadi workers in the success of the National Nutrition Month in combating malnutrition  and creating awareness on proper nutrition for healthy children and citizens , the DD, ICDS,  asked them to work with dedication and contribute proactively   in various activities that will be carried out in the month-long programme in creating awareness and promoting better nutrition . She termed the Anganwadi workers as key stakeholders in promoting and delivery of services of ICDS in the grassroots level.
