Showing AMBK’s solidarity with the people at the relief camp who are living in extreme hardship during this cold winter season, he said that the government of Assam needs to keep the assurance and promises made to Laika-Dodiya flood and Dibru-Saikhowa National Park displaced and affected people who were assured to be resettled in Jagun and Digboi.
It is also worth mentioning that two women have lost their lives at the Borguri relief camp due to severe cold and lack of medical care; which the AMBK has termed as human right violation.
