Administration brings GHSS Lumla under CCTV surveillance

TAWANG, Aug 1:In a remarkable move to embolden and uplift the education scenario of Lumla Constituency,

Lumla administration today, shepherded by ADC RD Thungon, brought Government Higher Secondary School Lumla under Close circuit Television (CCTV) surveillance.

6 cameras have been installed in the classrooms to monitor the classes while 1 camera each has been put up at the teacher's building and assembly ground to keep an eye on the pupil and their activities.

Further, monthly tests for the students of class 9 to 12 on the covered syllabus has also been put in practice to analyse their knowledge and grasp on the subjects.

"2 LED Television sets for the boys and girls hostel have also been provided for their entertainment and to keep them updated and to enrich their general knowldege," he added.

"2 cooks have also been deployed for the school," School Management Committee Vice Chairman Sonam Topgey reported. "A team of Head of Departments, consisting of Lumla ADC, Executive Engineer PWD, Assistant Engineer PHED , Assistant Engineer Power and Assistant Engineer RWD have voluntarily contributed and appointed 2 cooks at the salary of 8000 Rs per month for a term of 1 year.

"All efforts are made by Team Lumla under the skippership of Lumla MLA Jambey Tashi and ADC RD Thungon to lift the encumbrances of the school and students, expecting superior academic performances from them in return", he further stated.
