Namsai, Sep 7: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Arunachal Pradesh organized a 3-Day Sambhag Training Camp at Government Higher Secondary School Chongkham, Namsai.
On the second day today, Chow Kalington Mannow, Chairman of HOPE Foundation and Vice President of All Tai Khamti Singpho Students' Union (ATKSSU), renowned resource person, addressed the gathering on the critical issue of drug abuse, enlightening youths and students about its dangers and consequences.
Dr. Rajen Miwu, the State President, ABVP Arunachal Pradesh, conducted a session, sharing valuable insights on national reconstruction, nation-building, and the role of ABVP. He encouraged students to become active participants in shaping the nation's future.
The camp was attended by Jeli Ete, Sambhag Organising Secretary and Chow Teweta Choutang, Pramukh and the delegates from various schools and colleges across the region, including Tirap, Changlang, Longding, Namsai, Lohit, Anjaw, and Lower Dibang Valley districts.
The training camp aims to encourage students to become active participants in nation-building, provide career counselling and guidance including developing leadership skills among youths.
Through this initiative, ABVP Arunachal Pradesh seeks to empower students and inspire them to become responsible citizens, contributing to the student's growth and development, it said in a statement.
