ITANAGAR, Jun 8: An AAPSU team led by its Secretary Debate & Symposium Marli Kamki called on the Director of Higher & Technical Education, Tayek Talom at his official chambers today and submitted a representation regarding early functioning of Science stream at Donyi Polo Govt. College, Kamki under West Siang District.
It is worth mentioning that the state had accorded approval for introduction of Science stream in the aforementioned college during the Budget session held in February this year. An amount of Rs. 4 Crores for construction of Science block had also been earmarked for the same.
In this regard, the union sough the early initiation of necessary official procedures for immediate functioning of Science Stream at DPGC, Kamki. Further, it also sought the latest status report regarding functioning and introduction of Science stream including construction of Science block at the college at the earliest.
