AALO, Sep 3: The Department of Posts, Aalo branch launched India Post Payments Bank here on Friday.
Launching the programme, West Siang Deputy Commissioner Sode Potom hailed the occasion as a momentous one to provide banking services to every nook and cranny of the country at the doorsteps of the people. District BJP President Yomto Jini, Yaman Bagra, former ZPC, Tadam Mibang, Vice Principal Govt H.S. School, Aalo also spoke.
In their keynote addresses, Postmaster Sangeeta Kumari and Postal Assistant Ankit Kumar disclosed that India Post Payments Bank will go digital for payment and remittance services of all kinds in 650 branches along with 3250 customer access points across the country from this month. They also appealed to the customers to bear with initial net disturbances.
