AALO, Aug 19: The District Badminton Association has selected a 17-member badminton squad for under 13, 15, 17 and 19 boys, under 19 girls, Men’s Open and Mixed Double to represent the district in the Dorjee Khandu Memorial Badminton Tournament to be held at Tezu from August 25.
Interacting with players and coach at Indoor Stadium at App BN complex, West Siang Deputy Commissioner Sode Potom and DASO Tumto Loyi exhorted the players to keep themselves fit and to give their best to bring laurels for the district. The president DBA Kenbom Riba and Joint Secretary Lee Sora also disclosed that the players to represent the district are selected on merit through a panel of the selection board.
