Among the major issues that were discussed were the need to achieve complete Aadhar coverage of the beneficiaries  under Anganwadi Services viz. children(0-3 years)& (3-6 years),pregnant and lactating mothers,Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi Helpers,geo-tagging of the infrastructure facilities being created/maintained, timely uploading of the reports on the RRS Portal, complete enrolment of the targeted beneficiaries under PMMVY and total on-boarding of beneficiaries under Poshan Abhiyaan, the Poshan Tracker.
In his deliberations, the WCD Secretary said the meeting was being held to take stock of the ground situation and to understand the difficulties being faced in the  of implementation of the schemes  at the ground level which will help in successful delivery of the services to the beneficiaries. The Secretary further stated that one of the major objectives of the meeting is to impress  upon the need to cover the last beneficiary in the queue under the schemes implemented by the Department, which is infact the mandate of the Government of India and also the State Government.  He therefore urged upon the departmental and project officers to re-orient themselves to the new mandate. To translate this mandate into reality, they must involve all the stakeholders including the non-governmental organizations and the PRIs of the concerned project areas. It is also  necessary that they undertake wide media campaign and advocacy campaign so that 100% coverage is done in all the schemes of the department, he stressed.
While appreciating the works done by District and Block officers, the Special Secretary (WCD) Akriti Sagar, expressed that all those responsible for implementation of the schemes have to work with full enthusiasm in order to achieve the intended objectives and targets of the schemes.
Earlier the Director (WCD),T.P.Loyi in her keynote address explained about the details of the schemes implemented by the Department of WCD. She informed that for effective implementation and improved service delivery, the existing schemes of the Ministry of WCD have been clubbed together into three verticals viz. She also stated that such review meeting helps to know the status of implementation of the schemes, challenges faced in effective implementation and to better our performance.
