ITANAGAR, Oct 29: Ziro Utd and East Siang became last two teams to complete the Quarter Finals berth of ongoing Arunachal State Women's Football Championship 2021.
In an all important match to fill up last remaining spot for quarter finals from Pool B, Ziro Utd FC produced hard fought comeback from 2-0 deficit to draw the match 2-2 against Namsai in the first match played today in SLSA, Chimpu.
Ziro Utd advanced to the Quarter Finals on better Goal in Favour rule.
With help of two first half goals from Promila Urang (20',30) Namsai obtained a big lead by the end of the first half. Ziro Utd FC came back strong in the later half of the match and manage to equalise the score through two goals from Kago Kahe (55', 65') and  progressed into the Quarter Finals.
Golo Yarang ,Team Captain of Ziro Utd FC was adjudged Player of the Match.
Group topper of Pool C, Upper Subansiri who have already qualified for the Quarters faced Kra Daadi in one more decider for the knockout round berth from the group.
In a one sided affair, Former registered a comfortable 7-1 win.
Tori Basar scored four goals for Upper Subansiri (7', 15', 52', 55') and Team Captain Roshni Ramching also scored her brace (70', 79'). Yohen Yukar also contributed a goal (40') to help US complete double wins in the league round.

Kra Daadi failed to make any major impact on the field. One consolation goal for them came through Arun Dada in the 32nd minute of the match. They failed win a single match in the league round hence, East Siang qualified for the Quarters as runner up from the group with one victory in the round.
Upper Subansiri Captain, Roshni Ramching was declared Player of the Match for her all round performance.
Lohit will face East Siang in first Quarter Final at 11:30 AM tomorrow while East Kameng will lock horns with Women's College, Lekhi in Second Quarter Final match at 2 PM tomorrow.
Third Quarter Final will be played between Upper Subansiri and Kurung Kumey at 11:30 AM on 31st October and Papum Pare will face Ziro Utd FC in Fourth Quarter Final at 2 PM of same day.
