PASIGHAT, Sep 25: World Pharmacists Day was observed by the Apex Professional University (APU), Pasighat in association with Arunachal Pradesh Pharmacy Council and Arunachal Registered Pharmacist Association today at its campus.
 The theme for the year 2022 is 'Pharmacy United in action for healthier world'. 
Joint DHS (T&R) BPGH, Pasighat Dr. T. Tali who attended as chief guest dwelt on the significance of the day and said  the day is celebrated every year to create awareness about the role of  pharmacists in improving healthcare system and to honour and recognise their contribution towards global health.
Stating that trust between pharmacists and patients is essential, Dr Tali exhorted the Pharmacists to keep updating their pharmaceutical knowledge and skills because their profession is directly related to human life. 
Dr P. Ajith Kumar, Vice Chancellor (APU) also spoke at length on Pharmacist profession.
