ITANAGAR, Aug 28: Arunachal Pradesh reported two more deaths due to COVID-19 on Friday taking the state's death toll to 7.
As per the State Bulletin, a 65-year old female patient residing in Naharlagun who has been suffering from the comorbidity of chronic kidney disease and was under treatment at the Dedicated Covid Hospital at Chimpu since August 25, died on Friday morning.In the other case, a Havildar aged 44 years belonging to 18- Kumaon of 190 Mtn. Brigade expired on Thursday at Tenga in West Kameng. Reportedly, he had the symptoms of fever, cough and headache and was tested positive by RAT on August 16 last.
112 people tested positive for covid in the state and total 88 patients recovered on Friday.
Of the 112 new cases, 23 were reported from Itanagar Capital Complex, 18 from Papumpare, 17 from Siang, 10 each from West Kameng and Lower Siang, East Siang 8, Tawang and East Kameng 5 each, Changlang 4, 3 each from Anjaw and West Siang, Leparada, Pakke Kessang and Tirap 2 each respectively.
Barring 5, all of them are said to be asymptomatic.
As per the bulletin, as on August 28, out of 154276 tested, 150209 have been recorded negative.There are at present 3745 total positive cases out of which 1029 are positive active. 2709 patients have fully recovered by now and had been discharged.
