Itanagar, Oct 6: Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday reported one more death due to Covid-19 pushing the death toll to 20.
A 47-year-old (APST), a known case of hypertension who tested positive for Covid-19 expired close to midnight on Monday at the Dedicated Covid Hospital, Chimpu. The deceased who was serving as a Junior Engineer in the Hydro Power Department was admitted to the facility on September 25 last. Hailing from Kanubari, Longding district, the body was handed over to relatives in body bag after sanitization as per SOP and counselling for proper handling was given to relatives. The state today reported 222 fresh positive cases with 90 reported from the Itanagar Capital Complex. A total 189 patients recovered.
