ITANAGAR, Sep 6: Wineshop license holders of the capital complex has filed a complaint with the Commissioner Tax and Excise over the selling of liquor without license in many shops causing losses to both the department and the genuine license holders.
In its complaint letter, they stated, that within capital complex particularly from Chimpu, Jollang area to Zero point Itanagar up to 6km Itanagar many small shops (ghumtis), grocery and small restaurants are selling liquor without a license, due to which revenue of the department as well as license holders are adversely affected.
