AALO, Apr 17: West Siang conducted its District Planning Committee (DPC) meeting here at the Conference Hall of DC’s office on April 16 last under chairmanship of ZPC Babom Romin.
The Zilla Parishad Development and Gram Panchayat Development Plans for 2021-22 were approved in the meeting attended by the ZPMs, BDOs and Head of Offices. Stressing on taking up viable schemes only, Romin exhorted the executing agencies to ensure their proper implementation and timely flow of ration items to the people through the FPSs in the district. He also appealed to the ZPMs and officers to make the ongoing Airgun Surrender Abhiyan successful in the district. The ZPMs shared their suggestions to make the district's DPC more vibrant.
DPDO and Project Director, DRDA Jiken Bomjen appealed to the panchayat leaders, executing agencies and field functionaries to cooperate with him in pursuing the need-based issues at the grassroots level. DIPRO
