Aalo, Jul 27: All the laboratory technicians of West Siang district were imparted training on Antigen Testing here at the General Hospital on July 26 last.
The daylong training which was as a part of the ongoing preparedness to carry out Covid-19 related tests in the district was attended by the laboratory technicians along with pharmacists and other Covid-19 frontline workers. The Resource Persons were Dr. L.D. Chadda MS (ENT), Dr. Jombom Kato, MD Biochem and DSO IDSP. District Medical Officer Dr. Moli Riba disclosed that many of the doctors, pharmacists and technicians from different PHCs and CHCs are being requisitioned for district duties during the pandemic to deal with the manpower crisis.
Asserting that continuous training is a must to cope up with the new methodologies in Covid combating, the DMO exhorted all participants to take the training seriously so that they can handle evolving situations in an effective manner. DIPRO
