AALO, Aug 5: Deputy Commissioner, West Siang Moki Loyi today in a meeting here at the Conference Hall of his office reviewed the ongoing projects under the District Water and Sanitation Mission and making of the Annual Action Plan for 2021-22. 
Chairing the meeting the DC said that need-based schemes should be worked out by the department followed by time-bound completion. The newly appointed EE PHED Toni Ete disclosed that the Annual Action Plan 2021-22 of the district has to be submitted to the state government on an urgent basis for incorporation in the State Plan which would further be submitted to the Central government for sanctioning of budgetary grants. It came to light during discussion that many of the ongoing water and sanitation projects in the district’s rural areas could not be completed due to non-placement of total funds.
