Aalo, Aug 29: The youths of the township here representing various unions, organizations and societies have set humanitarian examples by rendering selfless services on voluntary basis without any financial support from the government as Covid-19 workers since the commencement of the lockdown in March.
Their activities include generating awareness in the township about the pandemic, round the clock duties at Piyi check gate, performing escort duties to people under quarantine at day and night etc. They are sacrificing their valuable time to assist the doctors, police and Covid-19 warriors in crowd control, taking Antigen Tests and escorting them to different destinations.
The youths have appealed the returnees and passersby to cooperate with them in discharging their duties. DIPRO
