AALO, Oct 2: In a noble gesture, today on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, mothers in West Siang district, particularly of Aalo area in collaboration with Mother's Vision (NGO) expressed their appreciation and thankfulness to the Arunachal Pradesh Police for having cracked down on drug dealers in the district.
In all the colonies and sectors, women came out of their houses and offered their standing ovation and clapped for the Anti Drug Squad for recent breakthroughs in NDPS related cases. They also felicitated the police team. However, none of the team members, sadly, could attend as all the members of Anti Drug Squad have tested COVID-19 positive and are still in isolation as per SOP, stated a release.
