AALO, Nov 22: In a step towards safety on roads for the citizen of Aalo, West Siang District police under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Raja Banthia conducted intensive traffic enforcement for three days.
During the drive, a total 395 traffic violations were booked, most of which were without helmet(318) and the second highest number of violations were driving without valid driving licence(34). Twelve vehicles were impounded due to lack of number plate. Total fine realised was ₹1,96,900.
We appeal to all the citizens of West Siang district to follow traffic rules and ensure safer roads for ourselves and our loved ones, said SP Raja Banthia.
