AALO, Sep 15: The 2nd quarter of district level monitoring committee meeting 2021-22 for West Siang was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Penga Tato today. All heads of offices, ZPMs and executing agencies took part in the daylong deliberation on various schemes that are being implemented in the district.
Participating in the discussion, MLA Aalo East, Advocate Kento Jini exhorted government officers to work in close coordination with PRIs in implementing policies and programmes as they represent the rural masses.
Assets created should be of public utility and largely benefit the people and there should not be any disparity in selecting beneficiaries and awarding development schemes. Aalo is a very old town but it is lagging behind in many fronts today and all must work as a team to rejuvenate, beautify and to develop the town, the MLA said. Presiding over the function, the DC urged the head of offices to create a people-friendly approach and render services sincerely and dedicatedly.

Central and state government schemes should be carried out as per government guidelines and all assets must be created for beneficial use and not in the outskirts where people have no access to it, the DC said while directing executing agencies to submit monthly reports and returns. DIPRO
