AALO, Dec 13:  The Divisional Level Review Meeting to take stock of all ongoing PMGSY roads phase-I and II was held under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner West Siang, Penga Tato with all engineers and contractors of the district today. 
The all important meeting was necessitated to keep pace with all ongoing works as all budgetary grants by Central government is to be frozen by March 31,2022 under latest deadline given to the department of RWD.
Chairing the meeting, the DC asked all contractors to complete the works by March 2022 as per assurances given by the contractors handling the works to maintain quality as per DPC and asked the  executing agency to supervise and give technical advices on regular basis without leaving the works at the mercy of contractors. Failure on the part of contractors will not only give bad name to the district but result in blacklisting of the firm and will deprive rural people of connectivity facilities, the DC said.
He asked all to position their men and materials to start the works on war-footing within remaining four months. The DC also hinted on visiting all work sites within a week to take stock of the progress of works.  DIPRO
