AALO, Jun 10: Biowaste management meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner West Siang cum chairman BMW, Penga Tato.
District Medical Officer Dr. Dubom Bagra  highlighted about Bio medical waste management and said that segregation of waste materials could not be done properly. According to the urban department dumping zone is yet to be located, he said.
Dr.Jombom Kato, Medical Superintendent urged the urban department to provide vehicles for lifting of medical waste. 
The Deputy Commissioner directed the private laboratories to properly manage their medical waste. He also informed that Aalo township has been declared  as plastic free zone.
