BOMDILA, Mar 31: In the wake of the recent surge in COVID-19 cases and deaths in the country, Deputy Commissioner, West Kameng, Karma Leki called a review meeting on the preparedness of COVID-19 phase- 2 at Bomdila.
DC urged the IPR, Department, Bomdila and all the administrative officers of various sub-divisions of the district to disseminate proper information on COVID-19 pandemic and ensure that the public should compulsory follow the Covid Appropriate Behavior (mask wearing and physical distancing).
Proper Miking, public announcement should be done to disseminate the information to the public, he added.
Stressing on the significance of COVID-19 vaccine, he also asked the DMO to take necessary measures to provide the vaccine to all eligible age groups and individuals above 45 years of age for which vaccination drive is going to be started from 1st April.
DC also instructed the DMO to prepare a District Action Plan to tackle the present alarming situation of COVID-19 phase-2. DIPRO
