ITANAGAR, Oct 6: The Dulom welfare society (DWS) and Paat welfare society (PWS) has lodged an FIR with the Special Investigation Cell (SIC) against officers of Daporijo /Raga RWD Division alleging that crores of fund has been misused meant for the road project from BRTF road to Jigi village of Kamle district.
Addressing media persons here today at Arunachal press club, Tagam Yitor , IPR secretary  PWS informed that under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana(PMGSY ) more than Rs 16.12 crore fund  was  been sanctioned by the central government  for around 29 KM road project from BRTF road (Circuit house ) to Jigi village on 10 January 2017.  Daporijo RWD Division had  awarded the said project works to M/s Tayo Enterprises after floating tender with the completion target of 2018. 
Yitor also claimed that there was no proper and quality culvert, side drainage, bridges, retaining wall etc, but the department issued completion report in 2019 and with help of the completion report, the working agency also collected complete payment against said road project. 

He also informed that in this regards society has submitted a representation to the chief secretary of Arunachal Pradesh in 2020 but till date no response has been made. On September 30 last both societies jointly filed an FIR with the SIC, Itanagar seeking inquiry on the road project.
Further, he requested the state government to launch an investigation on the road project to unearth the facts and sought strong action against all those involved in the embezzlement.
