Itanagar, Nov 21: An international legal awareness webinar on ‘Prevention of Sexual abuse & Trafficking against Children’ was organised today here in the capital by Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti in partnership with the Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority (APSLSA) and various State Legal Services Authorities and universities.
Member Secretary, APSLSA Jaweplu Chai was the Guest Speaker in the webinar which was participated by a large number of Judicial Officers, Legal Aid Counsels and Para Legal Volunteers across the state.  Former Vice Chancellor, Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University Delhi and Chief Patron, Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti Professor K.K. Aggarwal, Supreme Court of India judge Indira Banerjee, Union Minister of State for Women & Child Development Debasree Chaudhuri, Judge, High Court of Punjab & Haryana and Executive Chairperson of Haryana State Legal Services Authority Daya Chaudhary, Vice Chancellor, Arunachal University of Studies O. P. Sharma, Professor Shahnaz Hadu from the Department of Law, Dhaka University, Member, National Commission for Protection Child Rights Pragna Parande were among others who joined the webinar.
