SINGCHUNG, Jul 25: A webinar on cancer education was organised for students and teachers at Roopland Public School, Rupa by Mon Indigenous Culture & Welfare Society (MICWS) under Singchung Sub-division of West Kameng district, in collaboration with Chhabi Sahayog Foundation (CSF), Mumbai and The Morning Bell of Manipur.
Dr Vishal Jha, joint secretary of Chhabi foundation through power point presentation elucidated various forms of cancers, symptoms, food habits, and precautionary measures. Meanwhile, patron Naresh Glow and Khandu Thungon chairman of MICWS urged the students and parents to volunteer in disseminating the awareness among the mass, neighborhoods and friends.

Rahul Pathare chairman and Bashanta Sharma vice chairman of The Morning Bell also spoke, and shared information on availing free counselling and other supports to cancer patients.
