PASIGHAT, Oct 25: A webinar was hosted by College of Horticulture and Forestry RKVY -RAFTAAR Agribusiness Incubator, Pasighat on October 23 to sensitize and create awareness about the opportunity for innovators and agribusiness startups.
Total of 41 participants from various parts of Arunachal Pradesh and North East Region participated in the webinar out of 85 registered respondents.
Chief Guest, Dr. B.N. Hazarika, Dean of College of Horticulture and Forestry, Pasighat expressed his happiness to be running such wonderful project that will be of great benefit for the region. He encouraged all young entrepreneur aspirants to grab the most out of the webinar and the project.
The first Speaker, who is also the PI CEO of the Project, Dr. A.S. Mailappa gave a lecture on details about Innovation and Agri-entrepreneurship programme under RKVY-RAFTAAR scheme.
He highlighted the scope and the vast opportunity in agri-horti and allied sectors in the region.
While second speaker, Ms. Evie Koyu, Assistant Manager of CHF RABI Project exclusively highlighted on the step by step procedure to apply for the programme. She emphasized about having a strong business plan with compulsory innovative factor in order to get through from various levels of screening to finally be eligible to get the grant in aid upto Rs. 5 lakhs for AOP and Up to Rs. 25 lakhs for SSF.
