The Deputy Commissioner thanked the citizens for their participation so far and to further sensitize them to participate in the third and last stage of consultation in this fourth and final Webinar. ‘A massive citizen engagement campaign has been carried out through many media like road shows, workshops, reaching out to social groups, etc.  As a result, we have a large number of responses that have identified the issues and challenges of Itanagar and also outlined the Vision for the city in future,’ he said while exhorting the citizens to give active feedback on these proposals to ensure development for all.

Key projects identified include Ropeway, public transportation, smart road, commercial and retail development, parking solutions, vertical gardening and green buildings, sewerage & drainage solutions, PAN city solid waste management, integrated city command and control centre and smart e-governance for citizen centric services.
