MAHADEVPUR, Oct 23: The 186 Bn of CRPF under its a Civic Action Programme contributed 45 water tanks to villagers of Kumari Adivasi,under Lekang circle of Mahadevpur on Saturday.
Attending the programme as Chief Guest, Commandant 186 Bn Janardan Upadhyay said that this type of Civic Action Programme is being organized for cordial relations between CRPF and local citizens. The CRPF is always ready to cooperate with the local people and from time to time various types of public welfare schemes are being implemented for the welfare of the local citizens, he added.
Among others, Kumar Bijay Shankar, Second-in-Command, Jogender Singh, Deputy Commandant and Hari Shankar Sharma, Asst. Commandant of 186 Bn, and other subordinate officers and Jawans of 186 Bn participated in the program. The locals have appreciated the efforts being made by the 186 Bn, CRPF and the facilities being provided for public welfare.
