ANINI, Jan 20: As part of the ongoing National Road Safety Month which is being observed across the state and rest of the country from January18-February 17, a walkathon was organised today here in the township by Dibang Valley District Administration.
Messages on road safety, use of helmets, vehicle registration and safe driving were disseminated through slogans. Officials from the DA and NHDCIL, PRI leaders and common people participated in the event braving heavy downpour. In addition to road safety messages, awareness on Nasha Mukt Bharat, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and Swachh Bahrat Abhiyan were also disseminated through slogans and banners. DIPRO
