ITANAGAR, Sep 11: The universal brotherhood day was celebrated here at Vivekananda Kendra Vidayalaya (VKV) Vivek Vihar in a befitting manner with several programmes maintaining Covid protocol.
The Universal Brotherhood Day marks the commemoration of Swami Vivekananda's famous speech delivered on September 11, 1893 in Chicago to the delegates of the World Parliament of Religions.
The day long celebration included lighting of lamp by guests, speech by teaching faculty and guest on the life of Swami Vivekananda and his speech at Chicago in World Parliament of Religions. The importance of the day was discussed, group song and group dances were performed by the senior students on the occasion.
