LUNGLA, Jul 22: As part of the ongoing Covid vaccination drive in Tawang villages to cover the left-outs and refusal cases, a total of 77 villagers were inoculated today in the three villages of Pamakhar, Sakpret and Thonglek under Lungla subdivision.
Out of a total 77 who were vaccinated that included 10 pregnant women and a 92-year old lady, 67 were given the first dose. Along with Covid vaccination, DRCHO Dr. Rinchin Neema advised the pregnant women to undergo normal ante-natal check ups. Led by CO Lungla Nawang Thutan, the team comprised ZPM Lungla Thutan Gombu, the DRCHO and healthcare workers.
The team will cover Kharteng, Bakhar and Phomang villages on Friday to conclude the mop-up round, the DRCHO informed. DIPRO
