LONGO, Jun 4: As part of the ongoing Covishield vaccination rollout campaign in Tirap district, the 8th round of village-intensive vaccination drive in Longo Administrative Circle was carried out by CO Ripi Doni in collaboration with the panchayat members.
An hour-long meeting was convened by the CO at PHC Kapu attended by ZPM Kapu Block Wiram matey, MO I/c Kapu PHC Dr Chaniam Panka and all panchayat members to chalk out a plan for reaching out to all who want to be vaccinated. The CO urged the panchayat members to take the challenge with a mission mode and convince people to come forward to get vaccinated. The ZPM appealed to the panchayat members to actively engage and counter the fake messages about Covid vaccination circulating on social media.
The MO I/c assured that her team will reach wherever necessary to make the vaccines available for those willing to take. DIPRO
