ITANAGAR, Oct 7: The stage is all set for the maiden visit of Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu to Itanagar, on October 8. During his visit, the Vice President will also address the special Assembly Session at the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly on October 9 next.
Speaking to the media, Speaker APLA PD Sona confirmed that the Vice President will hold a special session on 9th October next and also launch the Coffee table book related to the history of the state Assembly. VP will also dedicate the State-of-art library established inside the Assembly to the people of Arunachal and inaugurate an auditorium as well as Recycling unit inside the premises, added Sona.
Due to COVID protocol and security reasons, we have invited only a limited number of people to the special session, informed the Speaker.
