Prior to the rally, Director, Family Welfare Dr. Emi Rumi spoke on the importance of male participation in family planning by adopting Non Scalpel Vasectomy (NSV) and urged all eligible men to come forward and not compel the women only to adopt family planning methods. The ICR DMO and DMOs and DRCHOs of districts, senior officers and staff of the Mission Directorate, NHM and Directorate Family Welfare were present on the occasion. This year’s theme is ‘Parivar Niyojan Main Purushon ki Sajhedari, Jivan Main Lae Svasthya aur Khushali’.
